13th Meeting of TAPI Steering Committee and 13th meeting of TAPI Technical Working Group (TWG) took place at New Delhi, India

The 13th meeting of TAPI Steering Committee was held on 28th April 2011 at New Delhi, India. The meeting was attended by Petroleum Ministers of four countries i.e. Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Also present were representatives from respective commercial entities of the four countries and ADB. The Steering Committee reviewed overall progress on the project and resolved for timely implementation of the project. Dr. Asim Hussain, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources represented Government of Pakistan.

Earlier the TWG met was in New Delhi during 25th - 29th April 2011 to finalize the Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) and to identify the matters for consideration for the Steering Committee

The meeting was attended by representatives of Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Pakistan delegation was headed by Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir, Additional Secretary, MPNR, comprising representatives of ISGS and MPNR.
